Filing for a Homestead Exemption

File Online for a 2025 Homestead Exemption Those who own and moved into a brand-new home in Duval County after January 1, 2024, might now apply for a 2025 homestead exemption using the homestead exemption online application.

    Tourist Tax

    1. Short-term transient rentals need to remit additional sales & utilize tax to the Duval County Tax Collector's Office monthly. Please e-mail TouristTax@coj.net to learn more.

    2. AirBNB, VRBO, and other transient-rental hosting sites DO NOT remit taxes straight to Duval County for any users.

    3. E-mail TouristTax@coj.net for info regarding necessary regular monthly taxation and remittance for short-term transient leasings with the Duval County Tax Collector's Office.
